Menopause changes how your body holds weight. If you’re on a GLP-1, or start one later, your clinician can manage it alongside your hormone therapy, on one plan.
Hormone therapy and weight care, managed by the same clinician on one plan. Your body doesn’t separate them, and neither should your care.

A short online assessment covers your symptoms, your history and any medications you take.
A licensed clinician looks at your symptoms, history and goals, and tells you whether hormone therapy makes sense, on its own or alongside the rest of your care.
If you're prescribed, your medication ships from a state-licensed pharmacy. Your clinician checks in and adjusts your plan as your body responds.
Your clinician decides what fits your symptoms and history, and prescribes only what’s right for you. All three are compounded* and prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy.

HRT is safe for most women. Much of the fear around it comes from a 2002 study, the Women’s Health Initiative, that used older hormones in women who started later in life. Starting before age 60, or within about 10 years of menopause, is linked to the greatest benefit and the lowest risk. Every health history is different, so your clinician will go through your own risks with you before you start.
They do different jobs. A GLP-1 targets appetite, weight and metabolic health. HRT treats the symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, like hot flashes, night sweats, broken sleep and mood changes. They may also work well together: in a Mayo Clinic study, postmenopausal women on a GLP-1 who also used hormone therapy lost up to 35% more weight than women on the GLP-1 alone.2 The study was observational, so it shows an association, not a cause. Start hormone therapy for your symptoms. If it also helps your progress, that’s a welcome second reason.
Many women experience real symptom relief within 2 to 4 weeks.1 Your clinician sets expectations for your plan and adjusts it as your body responds.
Like any treatment, HRT can have side effects, which may include breast tenderness, bloating or mood changes, usually mild. Before you start, you’ll go through your history and any concerns with your clinician, and they’ll stay with you to adjust your plan as needed.
Perimenopause is a transition, not a switch, and there’s no single test that confirms it. Your hormones can swing from week to week, so a good clinician looks at your story instead: changes in your cycle, symptoms that are new for you, and your age. It usually begins in your 40s and typically lasts 4 to 8 years.
Yes. HRT can help prevent osteoporosis, and it can support bone health, with about 25% fewer fractures in women who take it.5
